Our client is the world’s largest manufacturer of enclosures for the electrical, electronic and IT markets.

At our client’s UK engineering and manufacturing facility in Plymouth Devon, they are currently looking for CNC Machine Setter / Operators to work on a range of shifts in their Sheet Metal departments. They are specifically looking for people with experience in the following areas: Power Press, Piercing, Folding, Laser and Press Brake, although people with transferable CNC skills will also be considered.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within an engineering and / or manufacturing environment with a high level of competence in the setting and operation of CNC machines. You must be able to understand and work to engineering drawings and work instructions and use a range of measuring equipment. Knowledge and experience of systematic problem solving and the use of SPC, TPM, OEE and 5S is desirable.
