Salary: £22,866 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week (Permanent)

The company is comprised of 18 local authorities and four Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) working together to move powers from Whitehall to the West Midlands and our locally elected politicians, who know this region best. Individual councils will still deliver services and retain their identity but on the big decisions we will have the resources to work together.

With a growing and fast-paced transport agenda, we are looking for a talented person to join our expanding Transport Planning Team, which provides transport planning and appraisal services to support evidence-led development of schemes aligned to the strategic transport plan: Movement for Growth.

We're big on career development and we now have an opportunity for a candidate in the early stages of their career.

You will be a talented graduate looking to develop as a Transport Planner with the potential to attain membership of a relevant professional body. Applicants should have an interest in transport issues and a strong desire to be part of a team committed to improving the local transport network. High levels of numeracy are required along with excellent communication skills. A relevant degree is desirable.
