Planner

Fintec Recruit is seeking a Planner for our client based in Sheffield.

This is a permanent position with a salary of GBP21k - GBP22k.

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience, preferably within a consultancy, with either MRTPI qualification or working towards attaining the qualification.

• The role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across the spectrum of town planning activities, including the promotion of large scale development opportunities, the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals for a range of development types and local plan representations.
• Assist in the preparation of site appraisals; pre-application enquiries; planning applications; Local Plan representations and planning appeals, including undertaking research and site visits under the supervision of a senior team member.
• Active involvement in a number of project teams and the successful candidate will be a positive, proactive individual with the drive to meet client expectations and promote the business.
• The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and ambitious team player who is able to show initiative and is self-motivated.
• Good communications skills are paramount to the role as you will be required to liaise with clients, colleagues and local authorities throughout the planning process.
