We are a Nottingham based company looking for a full-time office administrator to provide support within our insurance reinstatement division. Duties will include data processing, managing correspondence e.g. Emails, post, telephone in a timely manner, prioritising & cascading/escalating as appropriate within own function or wider. You will also organise diaries arrange meetings and rearrange when higher priorities take over. Collating and obtaining information including critical dates of live claims will form a main part of your role.

Job Scope

  • Answering calls and dealing with confidential enquiries
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Data inputting and scanning
  • Assist accounts department as and when required
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Functional Knowledge  

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft WORD & EXCEL
  • Good general IT skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle calls in a diplomatic and helpful manner

General Background, Experience

  • Excellent customer service, organisational & communication skills with a proven record.
  • Call handling experience
  • Experience within the insurance claims industry and awareness of and compliance with SLA’s - preferred but not essential

In Addition

The jobholder will be required to carry out any other function or task that may be expected from them or assigned to them from time to time, within their span of knowledge and ability.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
