Venues Manager – £32,486 to £35,444 per annum. This is a full time position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and creative person to manage one of Wiltshire’s newest and exciting venues, The Neeld Community and Arts Centre.

This exciting multi-use venue was opened by Mel Giedroyc following significant investment in October 2015. In its first 2 years it has established itself as a busy professional receiving house on a national and regional scale. It is also a flexible venue for corporate and private functions and community events and activities.

As part of the now established team you will be responsible for progressing the business plan, providing the lead on operational management whilst balancing commercial bookings with an innovative and varied community programme. Our aim is to build on our reputation as a premier venue for Chippenham and the surrounding area.

Your role will be to:

• Co-ordinate and promote a vibrant, diverse and ambitious programme appealing to a wide range of different audiences – arts and entertainment, educational, sporting, social activities  - to ensure maximum use by the widest range of people.
• Ensure a safe and high quality customer service experience for all venue visitors and service users.
• Work collaboratively and in partnership with local groups, agencies and bodies to provide a balanced programme of events and activities
• Position the Neeld as the venue of choice for community events, private functions, weddings, conferences, performance arts activity and larger scale events.
