Scottish Autism seeks to promote and provide care, education, support and opportunities for autistic people of all ages throughout Scotland. 

The Marketing Team sits within the remit of the Director of Finance and Corporate Affairs which also includes Fundraising, Finance, IT and Property. 

Scottish Autism is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support the day-to day organisation and delivery of an annual events programme, including conferences, seminars and exhibitions. 

Main Purpose of the Post: 

- To manage and process all event bookings; 
- Responsible for the implementation and coordination of all events; 
- First point of contact for all event enquiries. 

General Responsibilities: 

- Attend all events to assist the Marketing Team with the setting up, registration and breakdown of events. 
- To provide general and financial administration support. 

A marketing or events qualification is desirable but not essential. Ideally the candidate will have previous experience in a marketing or events role and be able to demonstrate skills including: 

- Problem solving 
- Time management 
- Decision making 
- Excellent communication skills
