Head of Training and Education

This company is looking to recruit a Head of Training and Education to create and manage their technical educational resources and deliver training courses to resellers and end user customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver training for:
- Hands-on technical training in classroom style
- Online "live" webinar style training
- Online training modules
2. Accountable for co-ordinating and marking technical exam/certification tests where appropriate
- Accountable for managing accreditation process
- Prepare and update supportive materials to assist with training events and for reference once course has been completed by delegates.
- To write technical articles and set up guides designed to inform potential customers of the benefits of their products
- To co-ordinate course bookings and associated outbound communications as specified by line manager
- To oversee production of training/educational video clips designed to create demand via various marketing channels
- To take on other related tasks as specified by line manager.

Experience:
- Experience in creating technical set up guides that explain complex subjects in an easily understandable format.
- An excellent technical working knowledge of IP networking with specific experience using routers, switches and access points.
- Very familiar with presentation creation and delivery
- At least 2 years' experience in working for, or closely with, a major IP networking vendor.
- Some web design and/or video creation skills would be highly desirable for this role
- Experience in a teaching role would also be highly desirable
