Job Title: Training Coordinator

Hours: 40 Hours per week
Shifts between 9am to 6pm (Mon to Fri)
Salary and Benefits: Base Salary of up to £22k per annum
Bonus: Up to £500 per month paid monthly
Starting Date: ASAP
Our client is the UK's leading provider of HGV, PCV & Forklift Training.
Job Specification
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Welcoming the customer to the training program (by phone) and explain the process
- Ensure that all details are accurate, and the database is updated
- Processing application forms and general admin associated with training
- Book the required courses with our centres efficiently and accurately
- Be a mentor for the customer if they have any queries/concerns or need support
- Confirm that invoices are accurate and paid on time
- Handle any complaints or concerns from the customers
- Keep up to date with all product knowledge relating to our industry
- Forklift industry knowledge for this role is desirable but not required
- Setting up agreements with new training schools
- Occasional meet and greets with our top suppliers

Person Specification of the Training Coordinator
This role is all about people. Our client is working with trainees who will want their training with very little notice and a quick thinking organised individual is required to book and complete their training programme. They are working with hundreds of training centres nationwide big and small, who must be handled professionally. You will be working very closely with the course advisors who sell their products, ensuring that communication is clear and effective which is of the upmost importance in such a fast-paced environment. They are also dealing with occasions where trainees fail their tests and need support and help when they may be upset. You must enjoy dealing with people and be motivated by helping trainees achieve their aims. They will also require you on occasion to visit their top centres in the UK to meet and greet suppliers to enhance the relationship that already exists. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the rapidly expanding forklift side of the business.
Skills and Experience
You must have experience in an administration, sales or customer service role to be considered for this position. An interest in the haulage and logistics industry is a significant advantage. Complaint handling and resolution experience, negotiation skills, fast and accurate typing Skills and good overall admin skills are required.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel or Customer Databases is essential and Fluent English (Native) spoken and written is required.
