Our finance team in the European HQ in Basingstoke is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the team.
Finance Business Partner responsibilities:
Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for managing the TaylorMade European cost base and driving the business forward. Partnering closely with the business you will have a direct impact by providing expert advice and stakeholder management within a fast paced and vibrant company. Duties include:
-Accurate and timely preparation of monthly reporting of Operational Expenditure
-Engagement in business efficiency programs with an aim towards continuous improvement
-Preparation and collation of Annual Operating Plan / Budget
-Preparation of relevant balance sheet reconciliations
-Monthly review of actual v forecast providing key KPI insights to the business
-Proactive involvement in ad hoc projects - commercial & financial - supporting Cost Centre managers and Directors as required
-Liaising with TaylorMade subsidiaries throughout Europe
What we are seeking:
You will have proven experience in FP&A / Business Partnering roles, preferably within FMCG or consumer-led environments. You will also:
-Be educated to degree level or equivalent, and be studying for a professional qualification CIMA / ACCA.
-Have the ability to liaise confidently and assertively with all levels within the business
-Have excellent analytical / numerical skills - including strong attention to detail and advanced Excel skills
-Be independent and self-sufficient, with the ability to cope effectively under pressure and influence
-Have a proven track record of development with the desire to stretch own abilities
-Business Objects, Oracle Financials experience would be advantageous
