Location: Holt, Norfolk

Salary: £15,375 - £16,491 (pro rata)

Job Type: Fixed Term - 29 March to 9 September 2018 working 20 hours per week

Job Role

They currently have a seasonal vacancy at their Visitor Centre at Holt Country Park. As Visitor Centre Assistant, you will be required to work for five hours a day on four days a week to include Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays throughout the season.

In this frontline post, you will assist visitors to the Country Park with their enquiries, which will consist of providing face to face information regarding Holt Country Park and the wider area. You will also be responsible for sales to visitors of books, maps, gifts, cold drinks and snacks. Assisting with events across our service will also be required throughout your employment.

The Candidate

You should enjoy working with people, and providing high quality customer service. You must have a flexible approach to work and be able to demonstrate initiative, whilst working in a busy environment.

You must have a good standard of general education and a particular interest in countryside issues and the local area would be beneficial. Experience in a retail environment and cash handling skills, would also be an advantage. Lone working is required for this role.
