An Essex based steel fabrication company requires an Electrical And Mechanical Fitter
Must have a Health and Safety awareness, and have worked in a similar role with a minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical and Electrical Fitter. It would be an advantage to have having a good understanding of the engineering industry.
For the Fitter
- Knowledge of repairing welders
- Hydraulics
- Electrical circuits
- Planned machine maintenance
- Fault finding
- Machinery installation
- Overhead gantry cranes and welding units
Previous experience working in a mill, quarry would also be beneficial.
Must have relevant training and qualifications for this role
Skills Requires:
- Must be physically fit
- Happy to work outside in all weathers
- Experienced in assembling, testing, fault finding and installing of electro-mechanical equipment
- Attention to detail and able to complete all relevant documentation efficiently and effectively
- Applicant must have relevant electrical and mechanical training and qualifications
