Job Title: Office Administrator / Office Junior / Junior HR Administrator

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £ 18,000 - 20,000 per annum

Hours: 37 per week (Monday to Friday)

Type: Permanent

The organisation is a long-established security services company based in High Wycombe. Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking to recruit an office / junior administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting out on their career (or changing career paths) who would like to have exposure to many different aspects of a business.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Businesses Human Resources Manager by assisting in a variety of different tasks such as:

  • New starter, leaver & transfer paperwork
  • Personnel filing
  • Dealing with email and telephone enquires
  • Filing and general file / folder management and organisation
  • Uniform Ordering & Organisation
  • Input of Training records & appraisals
  • Taking meeting note including discipline & grievance issues
  • Logging feedback
  • Employee background checks and file preparation
  • Generating Purchase Orders
  • Acting as emergency back-up for payroll sending to payroll provider
  • Assisting with various reporting for finance, sales and HR departments

The Candidate:

  • Good skills and a high level of confidence using Microsoft work programmes including Word, Excel & Access
  • Ability to cope with changing priorities
  • A clear and confident telephone manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Well organised, methodical & able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete work to deadlines
  • An ability to establish a quick rapport with staff & visitors
  • Willingness to learn

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Self-motivated
