The Pre‑school Learning Alliance is the largest early years’ membership organisation and voluntary sector provider of quality affordable childcare and education in England. An educational charity, the Alliance represents the interests of over 14,000 member settings who deliver care and learning to over 800,000 families every year.
We wish to appoint an experienced, passionate and self motivated Manager to take responsibility for staff management, delivering high quality provision for children and families and opportunities for parental engagement in an expanding Pre-school based in Fulbourn.

32.5 hours per week
Term time only, plus 3 training days (38.6 weeks a year)
Actual Salary including Cambridge weighting £17,309.18*
Basic Gross £15,430.35*, Basic Annual Leave £1,878.83*
Full Time Equivalent Salary 35 hours/52 Weeks £22,386*

Your main duties will include:
- Leading a childcare team to achieve improved Ofsted inspection judgments
- Ensuring that the early years service delivered is of the highest quality
- Liaising with families about their children’s learning and needs
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and complying with reporting requirements
- Complying with financial reporting
- Marketing services within the local community and meeting local needs
- Line management of designated staff
You will have:
- Experience of working in or supporting early years and childcare settings
- A relevant qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Ability to inspire people to deliver results
- Experience in a leadership/management role
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for supporting children to thrive and meet their potential
