Goldington Green Academy has 500+ pupils on roll. Age range 2 – 11 years
The Head Teacher and Governors are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Head Teacher with a passion for children’s learning to
join our school in September 2018.
If you are an effective and ambitious leader who is committed to raising standards of pupil performance through positively impacting on
teaching and learning, then Goldington Green Academy is your next school. As well as being an excellent classroom practitioner you should also
be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful leadership in raising levels of pupil achievement.
You must be able to demonstrate the following:
- an outstanding classroom teacher
- a proven ability to deliver the highest standards of teaching and learning to all children and a track record of raising attainment
- a commitment to developing children’s learning, through a creative and exciting curriculum
- the ability to lead, inspire and motivate others
- the ability to think strategically, flexibly and creatively when planning improvements and opportunities for our children and school and generate ideas
- excellent interpersonal skills
- lead innovation and development of Teaching & Learning through ICT and other new technologies and research
- develop and enhance the teaching practice of others through coaching
- a nurturing, positive and empathetic approach to working in partnership with the whole school
- be committed to high standards in all aspects of the life of the school.
You would be joining our 3 form entry school at an exciting time as we continue to convert to a Primary School. We have our first Year 6 classes in
September 2018.
We are offering a supportive school built on nurture principles that are embedded in quality Appraisal and CPD.

teaching and further support the development of high standards.
