People Services Advisor

Travelodge has an exciting opportunity for a People Services Advisor to join the team based in Thame. You will work on a full time, fixed term contract (until the end of September 2018) and will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £21,500 per annum.

As our People Services Advisor you will support the whole HR team and the wider business by coordinating and processing all elements of the employee life cycle.

What you will be doing as our People Services Advisor:

- Supporting line managers with HR processes and queries, and advising on HR policies, Long and Short term absence management, AWOL and probationary matters.

- Processing and advising on all elements of the employee lifecycle from new starters offers and paperwork, setting colleagues up on the HR system, processing monthly payroll changes, through to the managing the leavers process.

- Good attention to detail is key to this role in ensuring all aspects of employment are correct and compliant.

- Managing incoming queries through the phone lines and the inbox.

- Maintaining and processing regional payroll processing sheets.

- Maintaining data trackers, employee records and the Fourth people system.

What we’ll expect from you as our People Services Advisor :

You should enjoy, and have an ability to work in a high volume, fast paced team, paying excellent attention to detail. In addition you should have:

- Experience of following processes

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Good time management, planning and organisational skills

- Proven analytical skills and accuracy

- Discretion and confidentiality

- Intermediate Word and Excel

- Ability to work as part of team and interact with people at all levels

- CIPD qualified
