Genetic Counselor

I am currently looking to recruit a Genetic Counselor to play a pivotal role in providing high calibre research for a client we are in partnership with.

My client is a health-focused genetic testing service provider in the UK, specialised in cardiac health and will soon be expanding into other segments in the healthcare market. They are going through a transition of expansion and have an amazing opportunity for a genetic counselor to play an essential role in the success of their company.

The Genetic counsellor will ensure the significance of any genetic markers used in the company products as well as leading the research for new genetic markers for existing and upcoming products in the company's pipeline. You will be responsible for providing the company with high calibre research support as well as providing information, support and advice regarding genetic conditions.

To be eligible for this role you must have the following:
* An honors degree (1st or 2:1) in genetics or a related subject with a genetic component, such as molecular biology or cellular sciences, Life Sciences, Genomic Counselling Clinical Pharmaceutical Science
* Master's and/or PhD degree in either genetics or genomic counselling.
* Completed an NHS scientist training programme (STP) and having received a Certificate of Attainment from the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) are highly desirable
