- Handling a large part of existing and new client enquiries for Meetings and Events. Received by phone, email, web site.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and especially written. Good grasp of the English language, grammar and spelling are vital).
- Producing a clear concise and logical brief that is issued to all potential venues.
- Ensure timely turnaround of the brief by the venues to satisfy clients timescale and to meet Agency SOP.
- Collating the proposals that are issued which will involve effective rate negotiation.
- Follow up call to clients once proposals issued to ensure received and then again in a couple of days should they have not contacted us and in case they have queries.
- Respond effectively to clients feedback.
- Effective and successful handling of each enquiry through to contract.
- Good problem solving skills to manage negative situations into a positive to keep a sale alive.
- Excellent sales conversion skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Provide support to the Sales Director with daily use of computer applications eg: Advanced Word, Advanced Excel, Advanced Power Point and good knowledge of Outlook.
- VITAL- the ability to create formulas in Excel to tailor make proposals for each brief received. Speed and accuracy essential.
- Attend team meetings as and when called by the Director of Sales.
