Prestige Recruitment Specialists currently have an exciting opportunity to work for one of our prestigious clients. Our client specialises in the delivery and distribution of new vehicles arriving at the shipping terminals.

The role on offer is for Pre delivery inspectors (PDI) technicians/ semi-skilled mechanics.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Attention to details
• Flexibility
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Own transport (due to location of the site) 
• All Personal Protective Equipment & uniform will be provided

The role involves:

• Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
• Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required.
• Carry out safety checks / levels checks / bodywork inspection & tyre work to all types of vehicles
• Constructive liaison with workshop team members & working to deadlines
• Be able to maintain a high level of efficiency

Type of work: Ongoing, full time - approximately 40 hours

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7a.m.-6 p.m. and occasional weekend during busy periods

Pay rate: £7.85ph
