This Tennis Club is looking to recruit a part-time administrator to assist with the administration and running of the club. The ideal candidate will be a hard working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks whilst working under limited supervision.
Key responsibilities will include: (but are not limited to)
- Responding to email enquiries
- Screening phone calls, enquiries and handling them appropriately
- Providing administration support to clubs officials e. Membership Secretary
- Recording, typing and distribution of minutes
- Communication to the membership, administration of the website and social media
- Maintaining office systems including invoicing and filing, accounts, banking and petty cash
- Other various ad hoc duties/projects as required
Personal Qualities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Some financial acumen and knowledge of website/club administration tools would be beneficial as would knowledge of tennis and the operations of a tennis club
- Excellent customer service skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem solving
Job Offer
Based in Byfleet, near Woking, this vacancy is on a self employed bases, looking for candidates who are immediately available. Paying up to £15 per hour depending on candidates experience (pro rata salary).
20 hours a week based at BLTC office (actual days to be agreed) car parking on site.
