We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Manager for a company based in Melksham who are looking for the person to come in to provide support to the Sales and Marketing Director by managing the internal sales team and ensuring that their customers continue to receive the best in class customer service, that the team strives to seek out and develop new business opportunities and any opportunity to develop business is fully investigated.

The role will be challenging, varied and exciting, where rolling your sleeves up and making things happen is key, and where a commercial mind-set is extremely important. In return, there will be the opportunity to play a leading role in the growth of the business, involvement in a variety of new and exciting projects, as well as personal and professional development.

Requirements for this role include the following :

A number of years experience managing and developing a large, multi-disciplinary sales and account management team

Demonstrable experience of hitting and exceeding ambitious sales targets

Understanding of how to deliver great customer service

Understanding of a consultative sales process

Experience in delivering internal support functions to support key account development

Experience of using CRM systems, reporting tools and high levels of computer literacy

The Key responsibilities for this role will include leading, managing and motivating the Customer Account and Business Development teams, developing and ensuring a professional, fun, and conscientious environment in which the individuals take pride in the standard of their work.

You will also ensure all sales processes are being adhered to and operating as efficiently as possible, collaborating with the Management team to identify and implement improvements to positively impact performance.

You will take ownership and responsibility for the experience of their customers throughout the account management process, that will including fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring all communications are of high quality and reflect the brand and values. In doing so, you will play a key role in developing a strong network of customers and increasing their referral and repeat business opportunities.

On offer for this role is a basic salary to GBP35000 which is negotiable dependent on experience plus a performance and team related bonus.
