The Company and the Role:
The Company has been established since 1994 and since this date the company has achieved NSI Gold Status for CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control as well as The BAFE SP203 accreditation for fire alarms.
Gold status is only given to companies who meet the security industry's highest standards.
They are currently seeking a Commissioning / Handover Engineer to be based at their offices in central Hampshire. The position is permanent.
The company's sales team cover an area including London and the Home Counties. A majority of their work is through electrical contractors and they have a healthy database base of both contractors and end users.
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Commissioning / Handover Engineer to assist Project Managers and other Engineers with the commissioning and handover of projects.

Key Features of the Role:
Provide technical support to Engineers as required in and out of normal working hours
Carry out commissioning as and when required
Assist Engineers with commissioning/handover of jobs ensuring all correct paperwork/as fitted drawings are correctly marked up/filled in and returned to the office for preparation of as installed paperwork
On and Off site training/guidance with Engineers as required.
Planned auditing of Installation Engineers
Keep good communication with the relevant Site Contracts Manager/end user to ensure smooth running of job
Carry out training with client/end user as required

Knowledge and Skills:
As a Commissioning / Handover Engineer you will be an accomplished Fire and Security Alarm Installation Engineer and should have experience in the following disciplines; CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems.
You must have a high level of technical experience with electronic fire and security systems.
You must have an up-to-date understanding of current British Standards relating to fire and security systems.
You will be a customer facing representative of our client and the general public at all times, consequently a highly professional and customer-oriented mentality is paramount to the role.
You will have energy, be emotionally robust and have enthusiasm for work.
You should display professional conduct and willingness to pursue customer satisfaction.
You should possess efficient organisational skills and ability to work as both an individual,
You should be of a clean smart appearance.
You should be IT / PC literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word packages and Excel.
You must have a full UK driving licence.
Although your office base will be in Central Hampshire, the role will require travelling into London and throughout the Home Counties and along the M3/M4 Corridors.
Your working hours will be from 08.30 to 17.30 on site. These hours are the minimum requirements for you to carry out your duties. Travelling will be in your own time.

What's on Offer:
A Commissioning / Handover Engineer basic salary will be in a range of between GBP30-35k per annum depending upon your experience and skill set. In addition, a company vehicle is provided.
Other benefits provided are 21 days holiday increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 plus bank and public holidays, Fuel Card and Mobile Phone.
