The hostel has around 17 male ex-offenders who have been released on license. They are all needing guidance and reassurance to help them take the correct steps to a better life. The perfect person for this role will be able work in a way that values diversity and equality. You will understand how to deal with emotional situations and have the ability to manage challenging behaviour. You will be able to listen and advise residents without being judgemental.
A minimum of 12 months experience in a health and social care setting is required to be able to register with BS Social Care.
You will be required to complete a fully enhanced DBS which is a cost of £50 unless you have one registered on the update service.
You would work 7pm - 1am working 3 on and 3 off. The pay rate for this role is £8, along with this you will also receive holiday pay and a pension scheme.
