Corporate Finance Analyst
Transcend Corporate is seeking a candidate for a role as a Corporate Finance Analyst. This is a role to support the whole Transcend Corporate team, but primarily focused on research and analysis to be used in preparing pitches for new business opportunities, and support to ongoing corporate finance transactions.
This will entail the use of deal and financial databases, on-line resources and other data sources to research potential buyers of businesses, valuation metrics and evidence of deals completed in a particular sector. Use of spreadsheets will be required, to analyse and present data, together with PowerPoint for the preparation of documents for presentation to targets and clients. Email and phone communication will be needed, so candidates must have good written English skills, using correct spelling and grammar.
There will also be various office admin duties, including meeting support, filing, telephone answering, diary management, stationery ordering and general support.
The role will suit a confident self-starter who has an open and flexible attitude, with a desire to take ownership of their work, which must be undertaken with accuracy and completeness. Candidates must be University or College graduates and strongly numerate.
