Carers'Assessment & Support Organiser

To carry out statutory Carer's Assessments and write support plans for carers where they support a person that has a learning disability. Additionally you will provide advice, information and support to help and support carers . You will also organise coffee mornings, occasional outings and social events that bring carers together to reduce social isolation and promote mutual support. 

You will need a good knowledge of the Care Act and the legislation affecting carers. Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential. You will work within a small, supportive team who all do there very best to support people with learning disabilities and their carers.
