Salary: £26,000 - £27,500 pro rata (depending on experience)

Hours: 14 hours per week

Location: Threemilestone, Near Truro, Cornwall

Contract: Permanent

Accompanied Ministry Development is a key part of the Diocese of Truro’s strategy, Confidence in the Gospel. It is our way of investing in clergy, parishes and deaneries to encourage discipleship and enable mission. The aim of Accompanied Ministry Development is: ‘To encourage, bless and challenge the People of God as we discover God’s Kingdom and grow the Church’.

The main purpose of the role of AMD Facilitator is to support the delivery of Accompanied Ministry Development (AMD) with a focus on developing and facilitating AMD events for clergy and laity.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level, have experience of facilitating learning with adults, ideally with a “Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector” (PTLLS) or equivalent qualification and a level of theological knowledge.

It is not a requirement for the post-holder to be a member of the Church of England although the candidate must be a practising Christian, committed to the aims of the Accompanied Ministry Development programme and be willing to learn about the culture of church life.
