Database Support Analyst (Part Time)

An opportunity has now arisen for a Database Support Analyst to join us in Maidenhead on a part time basis, working 20 - 25 hours per week and play a key role in supporting our platform.

Your Role: 

As a Database Support Analyst, you will be tasked with supporting the monthly data release process by publishing content data for online products. You will also work alongside content creation teams to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the release. 

Your role will involve: 

- Working with Developers, operation staff and content contributors to communicate and troubleshoot programming and data faults 
- Maintaining and documenting data upload checklists and procedures 
- Providing insight and expertise for data structures and content to the Development Teams 
- Advising on the best methods for accessing data 
- Assisting the Database Administrator with database security and integrity issues 
- Developing and maintaining the database 

About You: 

To be considered as a Database Support Analyst, you will need: 

- At least one year’s experience with SQL Server 
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences 
- Excellent interpersonal skills 
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well within a team 

Experience with MySQL would be beneficial to your application. Experience with Microsoft Access would also be advantageous, as would an ITIL certification.
