LOCATION: Crawley
JOB TITLE: HGV Driver
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP10.64 + shift allowance and free canteen
WORKING HOURS: Shifts working 5 days out of 7 including weekends
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with an in-flight catering subsidiary who are dedicated to providing the highest standards of service, choice and innovation for in-flight catering and in-flight retail operations.
THE ROLE: As a HGV driver you will be following a rota of trips to and from the base in Crawley to Gatwick Airport driving air side delivering carts of food for passengers on the flights.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV Driver role to include:-
• Loading carts onto your vehicle in Crawley
• Drive to Gatwick as per your rota (Air side)
• Offload carts onto the plane
• Complete any necessary paperwork
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be flexible and prepared to work elsewhere in down time between trips to Gatwick. Having an Airside pass at Gatwick airport is desirable however this will be sorted pending checks on employment.
Key experience essential for the role of the HGV Driver:-
• HGV Licence
• Current CPC
• Good written and spoken English
• Willing to complete 5 year checkable reference history
• Willing to undertake a CRB check at job offer
• Live within a commutable distance to Crawley
