JOB TITLE: Factory Machinists
LOCATION: Wollaston, Near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
REFERENCE: TSLGJ1204
SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - 39 hours per week
THE COMPANY: Our client is looking for talented individuals to work at their Cobbs Lane Factory, based in Wollaston, near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. This is birthplace of the world renowned footwear brand and home to our 'Made In England' range.

Key Responsibilities of a Factory Machinists to include:-
Completing required operations to quality and safety standards
Work as wider team/room to ensure standards and targets are met
Raise all quality issues / errors to Factory Management immediately
Complete operations to deadlines set by Factory Management
Ensure all footwear manufactured is logged and has a completed work ticket
Wear appropriate safety equipment at all times while manufacturing operations are running
Report all accidents/incidents to the First Aider immediately
Maintain machinery where possible and keep areas clean and tidy
Key areas:
More than one of the following operations completed to the specified quality and safety standards:
Post machine
Puritan machine
Flat machine
Splitting
Skiving
Embossing
Edge staining
Eyeleting
Beading
Any "ticketing" issues or footwear without a ticket to be raised with Factory Management.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful Factory Machinist will have previous experience in footwear production and be able to give the appropriate skills and service to an acceptable standard for bulk, prototype and sample footwear production for one or more of the production areas as required at our client's Cobbs Lane Factory.
Key experience essential for the role of Factory Machinists based in Wollaston, near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Will live within a commutable distance of the Wollaston, Wellingborough area
Must have previous experience working in a similar role or environment (Footwear Production)
Good eye for detail
Good communication with colleagues and management
Awareness of potential quality issues
Ability to work as part of a multi-skilled team
Health & Safety awareness
