The role of Product & Market Analyst.
We are looking for individuals to join our UK Analysis and Audit team, an operational support team. As part of the team, your key purpose will be to drive quality for customers and provide internal business support through the provision of accurate and timely reporting and analysis. You will be producing quality information in order to ensure:
- the effective implementation of trade research data into cap-hpi databases
- accurate and timely Used and Future valuation products
- information and technical support is provided for internal & external customers
- appropriate product quality control measures are adhered to within the team
- the effective auditing of business processes, products and services
- the development of improved internal management information systems
- the delivery of new and used automotive intelligence across the industry
Key accountabilities of the Product & Market Analyst.
- Complete ‘Business as Usual’ scheduled analytical and quality control reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide effective written and verbal internal and external communications with customers and colleagues
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationship management
- Document key processes and audit trails within the team
- Develop and maintain analysis and reports to support the production of cap-hpi products, with a strong emphasis on using advanced excel and pre-built SQL queries
- Maintain quality-control measures and reports to support the editorial production of cap-hpi products and services
- Pro-actively look to match analysis outputs to business needs
- Collaborate with analysis colleagues across the business
Experience required for the Product & Marketing Analyst.
Essential
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills including ability to create pivot tables and use formulas and functions
- Experience working as part of a team and working on own initiative
- Experience auditing processes and providing quality controls and measures of data and colleagues work
- Experience communicating with colleagues and external customers at different levels of organisation
- Experience providing analysis and reporting to colleagues and external customers at different levels of organisation
- Experience working to tight deadlines and having a flexible / organised approach to regularly changing team priorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages: Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Visio
Desirable
- Knowledge of automotive industry
- Experience presenting analysis and reporting to colleagues and external customers at different levels of organisation
- Experience using SQL Management Studio and writing Basic SQL Queries
- Experience of producing analysis using Data Warehouses and Data Cubes
- Experience of business analytical visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI
