Commercial/Finance Analyst

Sewell Wallis are exclusively working with a leading manufacturing company based south of Wakefield. This is a highly acquisitive business that sits within a robust and forward thinking Group and therefore career opportunities are frequently apparent.

They are now looking for a Commercial Analyst to join their dynamic Commercial Finance function to business partner across the company throughout different departmental areas.

You will be involved in, however not limited, to the following:-

-Business partner with each Business Unit Manager to ensure they are hitting's their KPI's.
-Key stakeholder management.
-Working on numerous special projects across the business.
-Due diligence work around potential acquisitions.
-Sales and profitability analysis.
-Pricing analysis.
-Report to sales teams on weekly customer performance, average selling price and margin analysis.
-Maintain reporting structures for the Operations teams across the Group.

This role will suit an ambitious and driven individual who is looking for some exposure to a commercially driven environment. You will either be an accountant who has just started studying their CIMA or ACCA or someone from an analytical background who is keen to gain some exposure to business partnering with areas outside of finance.

This role works closely with the Sales and Operations departments so a strong and confident character who can challenge appropriately is crucial.
