IT Support Technician ( 1st / 2nd Line )

My client are an innovative, technology based, leading company that provide a range of document control systems to their clients in both the public and private sector.

They are currently working with 360 Resourcing Solutions to recruit a IT Support Technician ( 1st / 2nd Line ), to join them at their Taunton Offices.  Basic salary; £20–25,000 plus benefits and career development.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be part of an exciting team responsible for internal computer system and network support.  As the IT Support Technician ( 1st / 2nd Line ) you will provide day-to-day support for staff PCs, Company Network Systems, Software packages and Hardware.

The key elements of the IT Support Technician ( 1st / 2nd Line ) role are:

- Investigating and remedying computer hardware & software faults on Servers and Workstations.

- Performing routine security checks.

- Responding to technical help requests from employees at all seniority levels.

The IT Support Technician ( 1st / 2nd Line ) must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

- 1 year of commercial IT Support experience

- exposure to; Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 7, 8 and 10 desktop and laptop support, Configuring workstations
