We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced instructor in catering to manage and oversee the efficient and profitable running of the Production Kitchen in association with the Gallery Restaurant. Provide demonstration and practical instruction to all students in the area of Professional Cookery. Assist in the maintenance and organisation of the practical resources used on the teaching programmes and provide technical assistance to the teaching staff.

We are seeking a confident and friendly individual who can work independently using their initiative as well as having excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people. The role requires working knowledge and experience of classic French cookery. A formal catering qualification level 3 or above, level 2 award in food safety (and ideally a Level 3 award in supervising food safety) are also essential. The ideal candidate will be willing to work towards an assessor / verifier qualification within the first 12 months of employment.
