What will you be doing?

This new opportunity has become available, working closely with the Assistant Production Manager, you will co-ordinate production to develop a manufacturing plan and determine workflow for the shift. Your key day to day duties will include: 

+ Working in a production clean room with the flexibility to undertake different roles throughout the production lines 
+ Ensuring products meet production quality standards
+ Providing technical assistance to team members and ensuring machine settings are correct according to the specific product requirements 
+ Supporting the team in order to achieve maximum daily output and assisting in the continuous operation of the lines
+ Achieving set daily targets in different areas throughout the production facility
+ Training new starters on best practice and how to operate machinery, following the correct procedures and signing off training 
+ Identifying hazards and assisting with risk assessments for each area of production
+ Maintaining high standards of good housekeeping and food hygiene; adhering to all aspects of the cleaning schedules and clean room standards
+ Ensuring process compliance 

What are we looking for?

+ Experienced in working in a food production environment
+ Sound knowledge of food manufacturing procedures and the ability to quickly learn machinery controls and operating procedures
+ Proven ability to train and pass on knowledge to team members 
+ Strong communication skills with high level of spoken and written English 
+ A motivated team player able to achieve the department targets on a daily basis
+ A proactive and confident approach towards work

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 2.30pm to 11pm & Friday 2pm to 10pm
