Female support worker

Do you have care experience and wanting to progress your career?

We are looking for a passionate Female Support Workers for our client. You will be a competent and confident Support Worker with over 2 years career experience.

Your duties will be to deliver high quality and effective support services, which promote the independence, well being and inclusion of customers in accordance with the companies policies and procedures and the principles of best practice.

Responsibilities of their Female Support Workers:

- Carry out needs and risk assessments, complete support plans, provide support, and carry out reviews, in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Hold a caseload of clients, and provide support to them on a key work basis in their own homes or at an alternative venue if required
- Provide practical and emotional support to customers to achieve the outcomes set out in their support plan
- Support customers to identify, move into, and sustain housing which meets their needs, including supporting customers to 'bid' for properties and report maintenance issues
- Support customers to maximise their income, to access benefits, and to budget to cover domestic bills and living expenses

This is a hands-on job in which no two days are the same.

• Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out, or going away on holiday
• Arranging activities in the home and in the local community
• Personal care, manual handling & supporting with medication
