Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: - Dependant on experience.

Job Elements: -

·Working 12 hr continental shifts (4 on, 4 off days and nights)

·The Maintenance Technician’s primary purpose is to carry out day to day Maintenance activities on all manufacturing equipment, as directed by the Maintenance Team Leader.

·Electrical Installation of equipment up to 415V

·Basic PLC modifications using a variety of PLC software

·Completion of shift OEE logs and documents

·Ensuring compliance with company safety and quality policies and 5S standards.

·Participating in root cause analysis and problem solving activities as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Previous experience working in an automated production environment with a good understanding of equipment and/or maintenance functions

·Previous experience working a highly regulated environment

·HNC or equivalent in an electrical discipline

·Proven experience of fault-finding on PLC and servo-driven production / manufacturing machinery (Omron, Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, ABB )

·Proven problem solving abilities, along with a basic understanding of 6 Sigma techniques

·Good level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office packages
