The Garage is a family run business established in 1997 and with over 30 years experience in the motor trade. They are currently recruiting for a dual role Mechanic and MOT Tester. The position will comprise of both MOT testing and general vehicle mechanics role. This will include diagnostic and electrical fault finding, where you must be able to track the fault and perform the repair in a reasonable time frame.
It is essential that the applicants for the Mechanic and MOT Tester have the listed skills/experience in the following disciplines:
- Replacing clutches, cam belts and head gaskets etc
- Mechanical diagnostics and electrical fault finding
- Mechanical NVQ level 3
- MOT testing license with prior experience
- Good team player
Working hours are currently Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00. And every second Saturday 08:30 - 13:00.
