Job entails general preparation and painting of sea going vessels, working to paint specification, understanding of paint data sheets. Knowledge of the set up and operation of paint spraying equipment. Ability to work to tight schedules.
Shot blasting using various types of abrasives to marine standards, Knowledge of the set-up and operation of blasting equipment. Ability to work to tight schedules.
Any certification will help in candidate’s roles.
You may also be required to assist in other trades during quiet times.
You may be needed to work extra hours to accommodate some aspects of the jobs.
