Assembly Technician

This company, based in Uckfield, is a leader in the design, manufacture and supply of premium quality geotechnical and structural monitoring instrumentation with a strong global brand with over 50 years' experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assembly technician to join our operations team for a 3 month+ temporary contract. The role would suit a driven individual who is a team player with the desire to continually improve.

Essential experience

- Read and understand engineering drawings and schematics
- Knowledge on assembly, test and calibration of products
- Time management and organisational skills/able to work unsupervised
- Articulate, good communication skills and team working ability
- Compliance with health and safety standards, flexibility, and development of skills through the complete manufacturing process

Desired experience (preferred but not essential)

- Computer literate - Office
- Available for evening and weekend work (generous overtime rates are offered)
- Competent at soldering
