Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Salary: £21,784 - £23,096 per annum plus excellent benefits

Hours: Full Time, 1FTE (37 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Exeter

This is an exciting opportunity to join our customer focussed, successful and professional Estates Team to be responsible for maintaining high quality mechanical and electrical installations, repairs and maintenance to M&E Plant and Building Fabric. Playing a key role in planning and completing a range of routine maintenance works associated with mechanical and electrical engineering you will also complete proactive inspections and remedial repairs.

You will have previous experience of working in a multi skilled maintenance role, particularly in relation to mechanical maintenance. You will also have experience of fault finding in various mechanical and electrical systems as well as an ONC / HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Commercial / Industrial Heating & Plumbing etc.

You will be a good team player with excellent problem solving and organisational skills and a commitment to excellent customer service. Good communication skills and the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels is essential.
