An exciting opportunity to work at a small and innovative medical devices group.
You will need to rapidly get up to speed assembling our new DBS neurostimulator and existing bladder control implants.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in all stages of medical device manufacture:
- Responsible for building medical devices, testing and process control activities.
- Device diagnostics and repairs.
Provide support for all aspects of cleanroom production, including packaging, labelling, and preparing clean materials.
Personal qualities
- Detail orientated.
- Self-motivated and excellent time management.
Key Skills
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- To have good close vision, good eye-hand coordination, accuracy and fine dexterity skills to work with small items at close range.
- Able to work with small items and small hand tools.
- Experienced in soldering.
- Experience of silicone moulding an advantage.
