This is an opportunity to join a leading supplier of on-site communication systems utilising pagers & android based systems.
Established in 2008, this company has a wide client base from numerous sectors including hospitality, hospitals, education, retail and industry. This company is part owned by an Australian group and system developer and has grown year on year since inception.
They are currently seeking a sales account manager to join their team based in Northampton, the role will involve both internal sales and visiting clients. The company receives new enquiries daily from both existing and potential new clients.
The role includes a competitive salary & company car. This is an opportunity to join a growing company who take pride in the excellent relationships they have with their customers.
Experience in our industry is not essential as full product training will be given. A general technical bias would be preferable but not essential.
Responsibilities Include
- Dealing with inbound sales enquiries from inception to completion
- Working with existing customers to develop sales and ensure we offer excellent customer service
- Ensuring all sales opportunities are tracked using our sales management system
- Visiting potential clients to demonstrate equipment and gain a full understanding of their requirements
- Build strong working relationships with existing major account customers through regular contact with them by phone and face to face visits
- Introducing new product developments to existing customers
- Provide a high level of service to customers - through understanding their requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders and providing excellent customer care
- Developing new customer accounts and opportunities
Skills Required
- Have a passion for developing relationships and providing excellent customer service
- Be a confident and capable communicator capable of dealing with clients up to director level
- A passion or interest in technology
- Be IT literate with a working knowledge of email, Word & Excel
- Able to adapt to and understand technology from user standpoint
- A strong desire to succeed and be part of the company's growth
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
