Position: Marquee Erector 

Location: Whiddon Down, Okehampton, Devon

The Devon Marquee Company. We are a leading Marquee Company in the South West involved with major events and productions, based in the heart of Devon.

The Role

The Marquee Erectors will put up and dismantle marquees and structures throughout the South West from our base in the heart of Devon under supervision from their Foreman.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, active person. Experience is not necessary but a can do attitude and a happy disposition is essential as no one is more important to us than our client and their event.

You will be working with a team of like-minded individuals working together to produce excellent results to a tight time deadline.

We will train you in the safe use of all our equipment and we will expect you to develop the skills necessary to produce first class results.

We will provide training in Manual Handling and our Trade Body’s (MUTA) Structure safe course.

This is not a 9-5 job but it is outside, it is not a sedentary job but challenging mentally and physically working with a team of people. The hours can be long but creating great events is fun.

You will need your own Transport to reach our base as there is no Public Transport that matches our hours (although we may be able to arrange lifts).

Current clean driving licence would be advantageous.

The Company

The Devon Marquee Company has been creating quality events in the South West over the last 25 years and is delighting its clients with fantastic events erected and removed within the time frames required.

The events range from simple garden parties, highly planned weddings to large corporate events and Agricultural Shows. They all require the same attention to detail.
