Tonic are searching for the perfect Sous Chef for a Hotel to the north of Birmingham where there is a multiple AA Rosette award restaurant as well as Conference and Banqueting and other fresh food functions on site.
This is an excellent position for a Sous Chef with AA Rosette and high volume experience to produce excellent food and improve their cooking and managerial skills. This kitchen boasts a very strong Head Chef from whom even very experienced candidates can learn a great deal about food and leadership.
We are looking for a Sous Chef with the necessary experience who:
•Have stable work histories, any short durations can be explained due to valid reasons. You must have worked with fresh ingredients in the past, ideally to rosette level
•Are passionate about food, service and hospitality with high standards which you inspire others to uphold
•Are team focused and driven to be the best you can be. You understand that you will have to work hard, but you will be rewarded by being part of a close knit team who work for each other
•Have a solid knowledge of how to organise a kitchen and communicate clearly at all times
