Catering/ Cleaning Assistant - Hospitality
Monday – Friday – 3.5 hours per day (afternoons) - Term Time
You will support the efficient and effective functioning of the kitchen facility within the Hospitality curriculum area, through carrying out general cleaning duties in the kitchen and restaurant areas. The role will involve ensuring that all catering equipment and fixtures are cleaned to a high standard, to support the maintenance of a high quality learning environment, while providing a professional and customer focused service to colleagues and students at all times.
You will have relevant up-to-date kitchen cleaning experience, along with excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team. It is desirable, but not essential, to hold an SVQ level 2 in cookery or equivalent, and desirable, but not essential, to hold a relevant, food hygiene certificate at Elementary level.
