Lecturer in Hospitality
You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery and assessment of relevant resources.
This will involve supporting the Curriculum Manager in the delivery of the department curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the student journey, delivering first class and high quality learning and teaching experiences.
You will be qualified to HNC level in Hospitality or a related subject area, along with substantial relevant industry experience. The ability to teach a broad range of practical and theoretical subjects associated with the hospitality sector is essential, and experience within the areas of professional cookery, bakery, food and beverage service and hospitality management would be advantageous. You should have a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office, along with excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
