Our market leading suppliers in manufacturing are looking for an experienced Customer Service Assistant to work on a full time permanent basis from their office in Birtley.

Job Description:

will be taking a volume of inbound calls, answering queries relating to existing/new products ensuring that all enquiries are followed through from start to finish

. You'll be able to deal with any invoice queries that come in as quickly as possible, checking faxes and emails daily for all brands and making sure they are actioned within 24 hours of receipt.

. Logging any issues relating to transport problems and escalating where necessary, always striving to improve service levels whilst ensuring that compliance is adhered to at all times.

Skills and Experience:

. You will have very strong communication skills with the ability to deal with both internal and external customers.

'll also be a good team player who can work well independently, possess excellent IT and time management skills and be able to work well under pressure whilst still reacting well to unexpected issues.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

. Call centre experience would be beneficial.

hours of work would be Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9-4

included are: 25 days holiday + bank holidays! Company pension, Free parking, Cycle to Work Scheme.

The successful candidate will be expected to be fully flexible where there are holidays or sickness in the Administration and BIU teams to ensure that customer service levels remain unaffected.
