The company is comprised of 18 local authorities and four Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) working together to move powers from Whitehall to the West Midlands and our locally elected politicians, who know this region best. Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is responsible for delivering the passenger transport objectives and aspirations of the company. We are dedicated to developing and promoting high quality public transport services and infrastructure across the region to meet our vision to build a healthier, happier, better connected and more prosperous West Midlands.

The Network Delivery Team within TfWM fulfil and manage the bus service network and associated customer infrastructure through delivery and provision of accessible transport solutions, subsidised bus services, network development opportunities and effective asset management and maintenance. The team are responsible for influencing and delivering these key functions through the creation of strong partnerships with the 7 district authorities of the West Midlands, bus operators and other stakeholders.

The role requires an individual to provide specialist support to the Network Delivery Team, especially in relation to the management of the portfolio of subsidised bus service contracts. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the bus service contract database, validating bus operators data returns, producing monitoring reports and analysing bus service contract breaches.
