Trusts and Grants Manager
Location: Canterbury Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: GBP31,324 - GBP34,985 gross per annum Contract: Permanent Closing date: 9am Wednesday 7 February Because like you, we're dedicated to changing attitudes and changing lives. The role: Supporting Porchlight's fundraising strategy, the role involves identifying funding opportunities, collating evidence of need and developing / writing bid applications for trusts, foundations and statutory grant funding. You will have the opportunity to help develop innovative services and become involved in action research that supports the creation of new initiatives and demonstrates the impact of existing services. You will be part of a supportive, dynamic and growing team that is working to help ensure that Porchlight can address the growing need for people that are excluded, isolated and vulnerable. What you need: A minimum of two years' experience developing and writing grant applications Experience of securing five figure and multi-year grants Ability to develop complex funding proposals Excellent grant management and stewardship skills Good financial and budget development skills Ability to interpret and present complex information and statistical data Ability to develop/understand achievable outputs, outcomes and impacts Excellent communication and influencing skills Benefits: As a member of the Porchlight team you will have access to a wide range of employee benefits including: free life insurance flexible working hours 25 days holiday per year Closing date for applications is 9am 7th February.
