Materials and Contracts Administrator

Avonside Braintree Residential Roofing have a position for a full time materials scheduler and contracts support administrator. Duties will include the following:

  • Calculating and placing all materials and sundry orders. Checking the products to order acknowledgements. Managing the delivery dates and lead times of all orders using our in-house t-card system. Liaising closely with the Contracts Managers with lead times and stock management.
  • Assisting with setting up Contract & Health and Safety Files, following group protocol ensuring all information is available and filed accordingly.
  • Manage the monthly branch compliance to ensure we stay within ISO standards, liaising with employees and subcontractors to complete.
  • Manage subcontractor compliance and training matrix, ensuring that all training requirements are current and compliant with customer requirements.
  • Upload and close off Competent Roofer Registration.
  • Provide administration support to the customer care team.
  • Answering the telephone & other admin support as required.

Hours of work will be 09:00-17:00. Salary £18k–£22k, dependent on experience. The office is located on the Springwood Industrial Estate in Braintree, Essex. Benefits include 23 days holiday (+ bank holidays), pension scheme and free parking.

Previous Roofing knowledge is not necessary, but a willingness to learn is!  You MUST have previous office admin experience and have an excellent knowledge and ability to use the Microsoft Office products. You should possess good organisational skills and a confident telephone manner.
