The Company

Due to continuous success, our client currently has an openingfor aTrainee Security/Door Automation Engineer to join the team at their office in Westerhope, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Our client is a specialist supplier of door automation, access control and locking systems, with a wide range of market leading products.

In this role you will learn to install and provide breakdown service cover for our client’s security and door automation systems for a wide range of customers, from health care to education.

Key Duties:

• Assist with the installation of security and door entry systems to specified standards.
• Provide breakdown cover and carry out servicing of automatic door systems.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
• Read job specification sheets and prepare all necessary equipment to complete jobs

The Ideal Candidate:

You will be an enthusiastic individual with some electrical/mechanical experience as this would be an advantage.

Hours: -37.5 hrs pw

Salary: - Dependent on experience

Training: - Full training will be given on systems and product ranges.
